Tool & Die -Trainee

Primary Job Function :

Train how to repair and maintain tools to support Press Stamping production.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Operating Crane, unload/load die cart & trucks, Flip Dies and Pull Pads
• Die tear down/set-up
• Die washing
• Assist die finishers with die repairs and/or model changeovers, including press T/O and production repairs
• Maintain equipment and a clean work environment

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• You will be required to complete education classes in accordance to the Trainee Education Plan for the TSAC Die Finisher Program
• Welding experience preferred Basic computer knowledge

Training Requirements or Equivalents:

• New hire orientation
• ERP System Training

Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements:

• Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day
• Hand and eye coordination
• Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
• Ability to use a phone and computer keyboard
• Ability to work in office and manufacturing environment
