Tool crib Executive

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the tool crib, ensuring proper receipt, storage, identification, issue, return, and control of tools, fixtures, gauges, and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate tool inventory records, including tool descriptions, part numbers, quantities, locations, issue/return history, and minimum stock levels.
• Issue tools and equipment to authorized production, maintenance, and engineering personnel based on approved requirements and maintain proper transaction records.
• Monitor tool availability and stock levels, initiate replenishment requests, and coordinate with Purchase and Stores teams to prevent production delays due to tool shortages.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory checks and cycle counts to identify shortages, excess stock, damaged tools, and discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, tagging, and segregation of tools according to tool type, size, application, condition, and usage requirements.
• Coordinate tool inspection, calibration, maintenance, repair, and replacement activities for measuring instruments, cutting tools, gauges, fixtures, and other controlled equipment.
• Monitor tool condition and serviceability, remove damaged or unserviceable tools from circulation, and maintain records for repair, replacement, and disposal.
• Maintain proper 5S, housekeeping, safety, and security standards within the tool crib and ensure tools are handled and stored in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare and maintain tool crib reports and KPIs, including inventory accuracy, tool utilization, shortages, tool consumption, repair/replacement status, and stock movement, while supporting production and audit requirements.
