Tool Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Tool Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise, efficient, and innovative tools and mechanical components that support manufacturing and product development processes. Your expertise in CAD software and mechanical drafting will drive the development of tools that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities include:

· Design tooling, gages, and fixtures

· Manage tooling builds with outside vendors

· Read blueprints to determine design to customer specifications

· Support layout and measurement of tooling and parts using CMM

· Generate Gage R&R and GD&T

Requirements include:

· Technical degree preferred

· CAD experience

· Manufacturing experience in machining environment

· Knowledge of lab measuring equipment; CMMs

Pay: $58,162.09 - $90,000.00 per year
