What they need
Our client is looking for an experienced Tool Maker with relevant certifications to join a busy manufacturing team in East Tamaki
- Rate approx $40-50ph but negotiable on experience
- Monday - Friday
- Dayshift hours - flexible
Duties
- Maintenance & repairs of all tooling to ensure production requirements are met
- Manage tools and inventory
- Liaise with contractors / designers / suppliers for new tools, spare parts etc
- Provide guidance and assistance to Die Setters on issues arising with tools
- Development of SMED for all tooling
Successful Applicant requires
- Trade Certification (Level 3 Engineering Cert)
- 10 years experience
- Experience using a variety of machinery (lathes, drills, grinders etc)
- Familiar with SMED & Continuous Improvement methodologies
