Job Responsibilities

• Perform mould maintenance before, during, and after production.
• Assemble mould inserts and components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Carry out mould fitting, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect mould functions before trials, including cooling systems, ejection systems, mould movement, hot runners, and sliding components.
• Monitor mould conditions during production and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and product defects.
• Follow up on mould repair and fabrication progress according to the production schedule.
• Inspect and verify new moulds and mould components during handover.
• Work closely with tooling designers and process engineers to identify root causes and implement mould improvements.
• Maintain mould quality, extend mould lifespan, and reduce scrap caused by mould-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and 7S requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Tooling, Mould Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in plastic injection moulding, mould assembly, tooling maintenance, or mould repair.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection mould structure, fabrication, assembly, and operation.
• Hands-on experience in mould fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good problem-solving skills, practical hands-on ability, and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Willing to work on a 5-day shift schedule.
