Description

Operate within the Tooling department, executing preventive maintenance, adjustments, and optimization of molds while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Requires proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, machinery catalogs, equipment manuals, and control panels, alongside performing other related tasks inherent to the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling, disassembling, and adjusting tools, fixtures, and molds.
• Maintain cleanliness, preservation, and organization of tools and the work environment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on molds.
• Sort, identify, and store tools in strict compliance with internal procedures.
• Control the inventory log (in/out flow) of tools, tooling components, and molds for each department.
• Execute basic machining, finishing, and bench fitting tasks as required.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards (HSEQ regulations).
• Consistently and correctly utilize mandatory PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the function.

Technical Core Competencies

• Toolmaking expertise: Solid knowledge of tool & die making, mechanical engineering, and industrial maintenance.
• Technical drawings: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprint drawings and technical schematics.
• Metrology: Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Advanced mold technology: Comprehensive experience with hot runner systems, torpedo nozzles, and complex cooling systems.
• Inventory management: Proven ability in tool tracking, mold organization, and storage control.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
