Toolmanagement Engineer

For our location in Ghimbav we are currently looking for a

Toolmanagement Engineer Your Responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing the molds’ stock and settings, in the internal system;
• Being fully responsible of the status of the outsourced molds (evaluating and monitoring, repairing, documenting, complaints, transfers);
• Being responsible for the suppliers portfolio in topics that regard: requesting price offers, negotiating contracts, technical documentation, establishing deadlines, participating in suppliers` claims management;
• Developing the suppliers` portfolio by participating in the analysis of potential suppliers as part of the audit team;
• Visiting local suppliers and following up in what regards the abiding to the processes and maintenance;
• Reviewing the orders issuing to the suppliers regarding the investment goods (molds, grippers, gate cutting stations etc) and following them up to start-up;
• Carrying out technical and process audits with the suppliers;
• Monitoring the maintenance cycles and process parameters at external suppliers;
• Participating in weekly ECN (engineering change) meetings;
• Proposing improvement ideas in order to maximize the efficiency;
• Editing internal procedures and instructions.

YOUR PROFILE

• University Degree in a technical field;
• Experience in automotive business;
• Proven Project management experience;
• Previous experience in molding is an advantage;
• Good understanding of 3D and 2D design models;
• Very good English skills in writing, reading and speaking;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
• Ability to make decisions under pressure;
• Problem-solving and time management skills.
