Tool Room Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

• Tool setting, movement, and setup change support
• NPD tool assembly, transfer, and prove-out
• Tool cleaning and maintenance coordination
• Tool life monitoring and improvement
• Inventory management and monthly stock checks
• Tool procurement coordination with purchase
• Supplier handling for tool issues and regrinding follow-up
• 5S implementation and tool crib organization
• Support tool trials, cost reduction, and standardization

Ensure tool availability and minimize machine stoppage

Preferred candidate profile :

• Knowledge of CNC, VMC, HMC operations
• Experience with Zoller presetting
• MS Excel, PowerPoint, ERP/SAP
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools and their applications
