Tool Room Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop CNC programs for tooling fabrication using 3-axis and 5-axis CAD/CAM software.
• Analyze, identify and implement improvement opportunities in tool-room operations.
• Maintain and upgrade CAD/CAM software ensuring efficient use and compliance.
• Generate procedures and best practices to standardize and systemize tool fabrication operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year related experience in tool design or fabrication environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Preferable familiar with SolidWorks, CAMWorks, hyperMILL or equivalent CAD/CAM software. Possessing knowledge of CNC milling machine operation will be an added advantage..
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot process related issues.
• Language: Good command of spoken & written in English is a must.
• Communication: A good team player with effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Time Management: Flexible to adapt, have ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
