Tool Room Engineer

Experience & Technical Skills

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a CNC programming or tool room environment.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, machining processes, and tooling.
• Familiarity with CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, PowerMill, or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T basics.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and machining tolerances.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\
• Educational Qualification
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify CNC programs for machining components, tools, dies, fixtures, and jigs.
• Operate and support CNC machines such as VMC, HMC, or CNC milling machines, as applicable.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, 2D drawings, and 3D models.
• Select suitable cutting tools, inserts, tool holders, and machining parameters.
• Perform tool setting, workpiece setting, and program prove-out.
• Optimize CNC programs to improve machining accuracy, productivity, and cycle time.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
