Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Tool Room Operator with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in tool room operations, machine handling, tool maintenance, and precision component manufacturing. The candidate should be able to operate conventional/tool room machines and read engineering drawings accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain tool room machines such as lathe, milling, grinding, drilling, and surface grinding machines.
• Manufacture and modify tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and precision components as per drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining instructions.
• Perform setting, measuring, inspection, and correction of components.
• Use measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, dial gauge, and bore gauge.
• Ensure components are produced within specified dimensional tolerances.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines.
• Maintain proper records of tools, components, machine activities, and maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the tool room.
• Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Fitter, Machinist,
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in a tool room or manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of conventional machining operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T basics.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
• Good understanding of cutting tools, machining parameters, and tool materials.
• Ability to work independently and meet production schedules.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CNC/VMC machines is an advantage.
• Knowledge of tool, die, mould, jig, and fixture manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming or machine setting will be an added advantage.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹29,000.00 per month
