Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily Tool Room VMC machining operations.
• Handle VMC machines for tool, mould, die and precision component machining.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and machining specifications.
• Monitor VMC setting, tooling, offsets and machining parameters.
• Coordinate with VMC Operators, Tool Room Engineers and Production teams.
• Ensure components are manufactured according to required dimensions and quality standards.
• Monitor machine utilization, production targets and job completion schedules.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling-related issues.
• Check tools, cutters, fixtures and workholding arrangements.
• Ensure proper machine maintenance and minimize machine downtime.
• Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
• Maintain tool room records, production reports and shift-related documentation.
• Ensure workplace safety and proper housekeeping in the tool room.

Candidate Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical, Production or related field.
• 1–6 years of experience in Tool Room VMC operations/supervision.
• Strong knowledge of VMC machining and tool room activities.
• Experience in mould/die/tool manufacturing will be preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC/VMC programming, setting and offset correction is an advantage.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Good team-handling and supervisory skills.
• Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.
