Tooling & Automation Engineer

该职位来源于猎聘 Salary negotiable薪水面议 Flexible working灵活办公 Support manufacturing operations at contract manufacturing (CM) sites and work closely with factory teams to resolve manufacturing, process, and automation-related issues. Develop, validate, and optimize automated manufacturing processes, equipment, fixtures, and a'uto improve quality, yield, and production efficiency. Collaborate with equipment vendors and manufacturing partners to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement robust long-term solutions. Monitor equipment performance, process capability, and production metrics, driving continuous improvements to maximize reliability, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Define and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including manufacturing readiness, prototype builds, process validation, and production ramp. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA), ensuring products can be manufactured efficiently at scale. Lead root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and process improvements to resolve manufacturing and product quality issues. Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for yield improvement, cycle time reduction, and process optimization. Communicate manufacturing status, risks, and improvement plans to internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Proven experience in consumer electronics manufacturing, with hands-on experience supporting manufacturing processes and contract manufacturers. Experience developing or supporting automated manufacturing equipment, production tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes. Strong understanding of process development, process validation, statistical process control (SPC), and yield improvement methodologies. Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from prototype builds through mass production. Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA), with experience collaborating closely with product design and engineering teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous process improvement. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good written and spoken English. Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as required.
