Tooling Controller

Working Hours: Permanent full-time position, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per weeks (day shift)

Work Location: EMA Cargo West, East Midlands Airport, Derby, DE74 2TR

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly self-motivated individual that is people and service focused. You will be working alongside the highly skilled and respected Logistics team based at East Midlands Airport, on a 40-hour week across a Monday-Friday day shift pattern.

The Role: As a Tooling Controller, you will be responsible for:

• The effective control and management of aircraft tooling assets
• The receipt, inspection, storage, issue, tracking and dispatch of aircraft tooling
• Being fully compliant with Company procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a tooling store, or aviation support environment role would be desirable
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Full UK driving licence
• Sound knowledge of working procedures relating to the acceptance and storage of aeronautical parts would be desirable
• Minimum of five GCSEs (9-4/A-C or above), including maths and English, or equivalent qualifications

The Person:

• Has excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
• Is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Has excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple departments
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills
• Has the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, and meet demanding deadlines
