Tooling Engineer/ Supervisor (Shift)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily tooling activities and provide technical support to ensure smooth moulding operations.

• Perform mould servicing, troubleshooting and minor mould repairs.

• Conduct mould trials, mould installation, machine setup and establish process parameters for new moulds.

• Diagnose tooling and moulding issues and implement corrective solutions.

• Support new mould introduction, first article approval and process improvement activities.

• Liaise with external suppliers for tooling modification, repair and improvement activities.

• Review and maintain tooling procedures, work instructions and technical documentation.

• Support quality improvement activities, mould servicing decisions and rejection control.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Tooling, Manufacturing or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tooling, mould maintenance, injection moulding process and troubleshooting.

• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
