Tooling Manager

Where we need you

• Lead and supervise the Tooling team, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all tooling changes to support production requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for tooling and related equipment.
• Track, analyze, and drive corrective actions for predictive maintenance and tooling performance issues.
• Manage tooling inventory levels to ensure availability and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and implement tooling solutions, including fixtures and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects related to tooling operations.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and ensure effective communication across shifts.
• Promote compliance with company standards related to quality, environmental management, health and safety, and data security.
• Ensure team members understand and fulfill their responsibilities regarding product quality, workplace safety, environmental impact, and information security.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, knowledge sharing, and ongoing professional development.
• Apply and maintain knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) through training, work experience, or a combination of both.

How to convince us

• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining injection, compression, and blow molding equipment in the plastics industry.
• Previous experience supervising or leading maintenance/tooling personnel in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of tooling, molds, fixtures, and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT).
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve tooling and equipment issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of mold changeovers and tooling optimization to minimize downtime.
• Experience managing tooling inventory and spare parts.
• Understanding of quality systems and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
