Tooling Manager

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

1.Manage tooling project during the NPI stage.

2.To organize and lead the NPI team to complete on time with good quality.

3.To lead tooling project engineers to do the debugging effectively and close the mold issue on time via trial report.

4.Close communication between Tooling and Molding on prioritization and ensure production per plan.

5.To ensure document control and issue comply with system requirement.

6.Strong sense of “Production Readiness” concept.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.To lead the Tooling Project team to manage in delivering a high standard tooling, meeting customer’s expectation.

2.Responsible for discussion with customer about DFM, mold concept and other technical issues.

3.Ensure document under control and issue to the relative department accurately.

4.Responsible for the production mold improvement. Improve productivity and efficiency by providing training and adopting new technology.

5.Establish and maintain team’s working spirit and attitude.

6.Maintain the discipline and Hi-P culture practice.

7.Ensure safety and housekeeping standard is maintained.

8.Establish system & procedure within the dept.

9.To ensure proper communication and information flow between the inter-department

10.Responsible for provide technical support / training for Engineering team.

11.Contact windows of Hi-P with customer on NPI and tooling related status and planning.

QUALIFICATION:

1.Diploma / Degree in Engineering.

2.Experienced in precision tooling >5 years.

3.Have strong knowledge in tooling and Mold Design concept.

4.Good in problem solving & Analysis skill and strong execution foundation.

5.Computer, MS Office processes, internet, and software application.

6.Good interpersonal skills.

7.Good verbal and written communication skills.

8.Good presentation skills.
