Tooling Supervisor

About the role

Supervise daily tooling production and machining activities, overseeing job assignment, manpower management, machine loading, quality control, and delivery schedules. Review engineering drawings, machining processes, and tooling requirements while guiding operators in milling, lathe, grinding, EDM, wire-cut, and other machining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily tooling production and machining activities
• Assign jobs and monitor manpower, machine loading, quality, and delivery schedules
• Review engineering drawings, machining processes, and tooling requirements
• Guide operators in milling, lathe, grinding, EDM, wire-cut, and other machining operations
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Control, and Production teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards

About you

• Graduate of at least a two-year technical course in Mechanical Technology or a related field
• At least 5-7 years experience in precision tooling or machine-shop operations
• Supervisory or team-lead experience
• Knowledgeable in conventional and CNC machining processes
• Can read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
