Tooling Technician

Tooling Technician (ROV Tooling) Reports to: Tooling Manager Job Description Primary responsibilities are to support ongoing new build subsea tooling, repairs and testing of tooling assets, and final assembly/fabrication support.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining tooling assets.
• Maintain tooling asset schedules in accordance with operational requirements.
• Provide recommendations for tooling process enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.
• Maintain and repair as needed shop tools & test equipment.
• Issue weekly & monthly reports as appropriate.
• Interface with Tooling Manager to prioritize & schedule assets.
• Assure readiness of tooling assets in support of operations requirements.
• Maintain project related documentation including manuals and procedures.
• Responsible for health, safety and environmental compliance for onshore tooling activities.

Qualifications Education / Training: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience: 5+ years of experience.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Special Requirements

• Strong Electro-Mechanical & Hydraulics background.
• Knowledge of Well Intervention & Workover Control Systems beneficial.
• Strong Hydraulics repair & troubleshooting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications and writing skills.

Working conditions

• Office, shop environment.
• Some Travel Required.
• Occasional Offshore travel may be required.
