Tooling Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair progressive, compound, and secondary tooling.
• Perform tooling adjustments and first-piece quality inspections.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Ensure tooling quality, production schedules, and cost targets are met.
• Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in progressive tooling/dies, setup, troubleshooting, and production.
• Strong blueprint reading and metal stamping knowledge.
• Familiarity with SPC, ISO quality standards, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform hands-on shop-floor work.
