Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tool Maker with hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Moulding tools and mould maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for mould assembly, fitting, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth production operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of Plastic Injection Moulds.
• Assemble and dismantle injection mould tools as per engineering drawings.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of moulds.
• Identify and rectify mould-related issues such as flash, short moulding, mismatch, leakage, and dimensional defects.
• Perform fitting, polishing, grinding, and machining of mould components.
• Handle core, cavity, ejector system, slider, guide pillar, and other mould components.
• Operate conventional machines such as Milling, Surface Grinding, Lathe, and Drilling machines.
• Ensure proper alignment and functioning of mould components.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve mould-related production issues.
• Perform trial and troubleshooting of moulds after maintenance or modification.
• Maintain records of mould maintenance, breakdown, and modifications.
• Follow safety standards and maintain 5S practices in the Tool Room.
