What they need
We are looking for a skilled, reliable Toolmaker to join our team. The right candidate will have 10+ years of precision machining experience building from engineering drawings and 3D models. This role covers the full build: reading prints, planning the job, machining components on CNC and manual equipment, and fitting, assembling and checking the finished tool.
Requirements:
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, and work to tight tolerances
- Set up and run CNC mills and lathes, including program edits and basic programming
- Strong manual machining skills
- Skilled with precision measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators and gauge pins
- Assemble tooling with fasteners, dowels, threaded inserts and purchased components
- Work independently, troubleshoot problems and meet build deadlines
- Stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs consistently
Pluses: aerospace or defense tooling experience, CAD/CAM experience
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Experience:
