Toolmaker Machinist

J.L. Lucas Machinery has been in business for over 30 years in the Waterbury area rebuilding and manufacturing double disc grinders. We are looking for a toolmaker/machinist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a toolroom. We have both manual and CNC mills, lathes, and boring mills to machine parts used in the manufacture of our grinding machines. Most runs are 1-10 parts so there are typically several set ups and machine changes during the course of the day. Applicants must be able to produce finished machined parts from bar stock, castings, or flame cut blanks to print.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
