Tools & Testing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Tools & Testing Manager to lead and manage multiple testing teams supporting global mapping and field operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in QA/testing, test management, stakeholder coordination, release management, and team leadership , along with hands-on experience working with cross-functional engineering and product teams.

The candidate will be responsible for planning and managing testing activities, driving quality standards, monitoring project progress, resolving blockers, and ensuring successful and timely releases while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple testing teams , ensuring effective resource allocation and delivery.
• Assign tasks, establish priorities, monitor testing activities, and track overall team progress.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Specialists, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Testers, and other stakeholders to review and refine test cases and test procedures .
• Communicate testing plans, procedures, and requirements effectively to global testing teams .
• Drive the weekly release process , identifying, tracking, and following up on blockers to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define test objectives, testing strategies, timelines, and quality goals .
• Monitor customer and client satisfaction while ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards.
• Participate in daily and weekly stand-up meetings with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Lead Weekly Business Review (WBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings with clients.
• Provide regular updates to Project Managers and stakeholders on testing progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Mentor and support team members through training, coaching, performance feedback, and career development plans .
• Establish and drive QA and testing standards, processes, and best practices across teams.
• Champion continuous quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proactively communicate key learnings, risks, feedback, and improvement opportunities to Project Managers and clients.
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve testing processes and documentation .
• Ensure testing activities are completed within defined timelines and quality expectations.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and constantly evolving environment , navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 9–10+ years of overall experience in software testing/QA, with significant experience in a leadership or Test Lead capacity.
• Proven experience in the Mapping / Field Operations domain .
• Previous hands-on experience as a Test Lead / QA Lead , working closely with developers, product specialists, Business Analysts, Project Managers, testers, and business stakeholders.
• Strong experience in test planning, test strategy, test execution, defect management, release management, and quality assurance .
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to work effectively with global and local teams.
• Familiarity with mobile and web technologies .
• Working knowledge of organizational and productivity tools such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel , and similar tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript , or related technical skills will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership of deliverables.
