Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS on demand.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Declarative Scripted/Groovy).
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Administer and support developer tools, including JFrog Artifactory.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based environments.
• Implement and maintain SLOs, observability, and reliability practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Ensure security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.

Must-Have Skills

• AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch)
• Docker container orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS)
• Kubernetes (EKS) at scale
• Helm charts and GitOps
• Jenkins pipeline development (Groovy, shared libraries)
• Python scripting and automation
• Git-based workflows and branching strategies
• Strong Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu)
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Infrastructure as Code, Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
• Shell scripting (Bash)
• Configuration management (Ansible)
• Secrets management and security hardening
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
• Service mesh experience (Istio/Envoy)
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer)
• JFrog Artifactory administration and repository
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, etc.)

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience
• Strong AWS hands-on (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch)
• Strong Jenkins pipeline development (Declarative + Scripted/Groovy)
• Strong Linux admin (RHEL/Ubuntu)
• Experience in CI/CD design and implementation
• Experience in IaC (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
• Helm + GitOps implementation experience
