Your Contribution

As a Toolsetter, reporting to the Production Foreman, you will be responsible for:

• Plan and conduct daily tool changes and tooling maintenance whilst maintaining tooling records.
• Production support that includes updating data and reports whilst also conducting product and process audits.
• Ensure the production output meets the sales requirements within the plant’s capacity constraints.
• Manufacture the product to the customer’s and agreed company specification.
• To ensure that materials are cost effective and efficiently utilized to pre-determines standards with minimal scrap.
• To ensure that the Health, Safety and Environments standards meet legal requirements.
• To ensure appropriate plant and equipment is available to effectively meet present and future production plans.
• Continually strive to develop each plant toward World Class Manufacturing standard.
• Be actively involved in the CIP process (Continuous Improvement Processes). Problem Solving Activities (A3).
• Drive the 5S process.

Your Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have the following qualification and experience

• Trade Tested
• Fitter and Turner / Millwright /Toolmaker
• 5 years’ experience in a production environment
• Technical understanding – will be advantageous

Personal Competence

• Attention to detail
• Must have a sense of urgency.

Leadership & Management

• Ability to work and communicate/Instruct in a team
