TOPdesk Engineer

TOPdesk Engineer – 6+ Month Contract – North Brabant

The role

An organization in North Brabant is looking for a skilled TOPdesk Engineer to take ownership of its ITSM platform and drive further improvements. You will play a key role in enhancing service management processes, optimizing platform functionality and introducing smarter ways of working. Working alongside IT support, service management and technical teams, you will help ensure TOPdesk remains an efficient and reliable solution for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop the TOPdesk environment.
• Configure and improve workflows for incidents, service requests, changes and problems.
• Optimize service portals, forms, SLAs, user permissions and team structures.
• Convert ITIL processes into practical and scalable platform solutions.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Maintain integrations between TOPdesk and other systems, including IAM and monitoring tools.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track service performance and SLA compliance.
• Coordinate testing, documentation and the implementation of platform changes.
• Advise and support users, key users and process owners.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external partners to improve service delivery.

Skills

• Hands-on experience with TOPdesk administration, configuration and optimization.
• Solid understanding of ITSM principles and ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and application integrations.
• Knowledge of workflow automation, reporting and data-driven improvements.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a complex IT environment is beneficial.
• Interest in emerging AI applications and their potential within IT service management.
• Fluency in Dutch is required
