Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage network security solutions utilizing advanced firewalls such as Cisco ASA and Cisco ISE to protect organizational infrastructure.
• Implement and oversee routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP to ensure efficient and resilient network connectivity across LANs (Local Area Networks), WANs (Wide Area Networks), and cloud environments like AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, and SolarWinds to identify potential threats within network architecture.
• Develop and enforce security policies aligned with NIST standards, ISO 27002 guidelines, and ITIL best practices for incident response and disaster recovery planning.
• Monitor network traffic using SIEM solutions such as Splunk or New Relic to detect anomalies or cyber threats in real-time.
• Manage encryption protocols including IPsec, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), SSL/TLS to secure data in transit and at rest across diverse platforms including Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and openSUSE.
• Support system administration tasks on operating systems like Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, Solaris, and VMware vSphere for maintaining high availability and system stability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, and LDAP.
• Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity tools including IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), VPN configurations, load balancing solutions, and network monitoring software.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management on platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform with expertise in cloud architecture design.
• Strong background in information security principles including SSO (Single Sign-On), SSO integrations, SFTP/FTP/SASL for secure file transfer.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell or Python for automation of security tasks.
• Ability to perform incident management activities swiftly while adhering to ITIL frameworks; experience with disaster recovery planning is a plus.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere or Citrix; understanding of high availability configurations is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on network support, system administration, and cybersecurity incident response across diverse operating systems including Windows Server environments.
