Duties

• Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles in various conditions.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs to assess damage and determine the best recovery approach.
• Secure cargo and vehicles following established protocols to prevent movement during transit.
• Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks while adhering to cargo securement protocols.
• Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues quickly.
• Manage vehicle recovery towing operations efficiently, including car towing, flatbed transport, and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers.
• Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and safety inspections while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving and flatbed towing operations.
• Strong understanding of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on manual transmission vehicles and safe maneuvering in diverse environments.
• Ability to manage conflicts professionally while providing outstanding customer service during stressful situations.
• Mechanical knowledge related to minor mechanical vehicle repairs and automotive diagnostics.
• Skilled in load & unload procedures, vehicle recovery towing, and adhering to safety standards at all times.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
