Tow Truck Driver/Operator

Sutter Metals, LLC is a family-owned metal scrap recycling company with locations in Tacoma, Lacey and Centralia, WA. We are looking for a skilled flatbed tow truck driving professional to join our fast-paced scrap metal team.

Position Details:

• Reliable schedule; Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM (or Tuesday-Saturday if desired) No Unpredictable Overnight Calls!
• Safely operate flatbed tow truck to transport company owned end-of-life vehicles intended for recycle.
• Driving routes are regional / local (greater Tacoma and Puget Sound areas).
• Communicating with dispatcher and coworkers as needed.
• Infrequent check/cash handling.
• Perform daily pre-driving inspections of assigned truck to make sure is running safely and smoothly (communication with on-site Mechanic as needed).

What you need:

• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Hold current, unrestricted Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.
• Be capable of fulfilling job description duties.
• Stay committed to company safety protocols and procedures.
• 1+ year(s) of flatbed driving experience preferred but not required.
