Tow Truck Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of good customer service and road safety. This role involves responding to calls for roadside assistance, safely transporting vehicles, and providing exceptional customer service. A commitment to safety and professionalism is essential in this position.

Duties

• Operate tow trucks and flatbed vehicles to transport disabled or damaged vehicles.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls for roadside assistance and impound recovery.
• Perform basic roadside assistance such as tire changes, jumpstarts, and lock outs.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of vehicles onto the tow truck.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle condition.
• Communicate effectively with customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
• Manage conflicts professionally while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Valid and CURRENT TDLR, and drivers license; must have a clean driving record.
• Experience operating tow trucks, including flatbed models.
• Proficiency in manual transmission driving is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle customer interactions effectively.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Over the age of 25
• At least 1 year+ of towing experience
• Must be able to operate a wheel lift
• Must be able to install dollies
• Bilingual ( Spanish and English)
• Must be able to confidently speak and negotiate with customers
• Punctuality is a must!!!!
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must have a clear background
