Duties

• Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and snatch-n-go trucks, to recover and transport vehicles with precision and care
• Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before towing
• Securely load and unload vehicles following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit
• Perform vehicle recovery towing at accident scenes or breakdown locations, ensuring safety for all parties involved
• Assist customers with roadside issues by providing excellent customer service, clear communication, and professional support
• Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and incident reports for record-keeping purposes
• Follow all safety procedures related to vehicle loading onto tow trucks and mechanical repair processes

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with at least 1 year of experience in truck driving or towing
• Would prefer mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, minor mechanical repairs, and basic vehicle knowledge
• Familiarity with safe vehicle loading techniques on tow trucks
• Strong driving skills with experience operating vehicles in various conditions
• Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly
• Effective communication skills to assist clients courteously and efficiently

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
