Tow Truck Operator

Position Overview:

MoCo Pro Towing LLC is seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented Tow Truck Drivers to join our growing team. In this role, drivers serve as the face of the company, providing essential roadside assistance and vehicle transport services to customers in a wide range of situations, from routine breakdowns to high-stress roadside emergencies.

The ideal candidate is capable of operating towing equipment with precision and care, ensuring the safe loading, transport, and unloading of vehicles without causing damage. Drivers must be able to think quickly, adapt to changing conditions, and maintain professionalism while working in fast-paced and sometimes challenging environments.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent customer service. Drivers will work closely with dispatch, follow all safety and compliance standards, and accurately complete digital or written job documentation. Candidates should be comfortable working flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and on-call shifts, as towing services operate 24/7.

Responsibilites

• Respond to dispatch calls in a timely manner
• Safely operate a flatbed and/or wheel-lift tow truck]
• Load, transport, and unload vehicles without damage
• Perform roadside assistance (Jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery)
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers
• Complete required paperwork and/or digital dispatch accurately
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
• Perform basic truck inspections and maintenance

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Real ID with the star to access military bases)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekend, and on-call shifts
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous towing or roadside experience
• Experience using towbook or similar dispatch software
• Knowledge of local roads and highways

Physical Requirments

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand, bend and move frequently throughout shifts

Experience:
