TOWER CRANE OPERATOR

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the tower crane safely and efficiently in accordance with approved lifting plans and site procedures.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure the crane is in safe working condition.
• Lift, move, and position construction materials, equipment, and loads accurately and safely.
• Follow the instructions of appointed signalmen and coordinate effectively with riggers and site supervisors during lifting operations.
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and project requirements.
• Monitor weather and site conditions to ensure safe crane operations.
• Report any equipment defects, malfunctions, or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of crane inspections, operations, and maintenance activities, where required.
• Keep the crane cabin and work area clean and orderly.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and mandatory training sessions.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Company that are related to the role.
