About the role
As an Electrical Tower Crane Technician, you will be responsible for the electrical servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of tower crane equipment. You will work closely with our experienced team of technicians to ensure our tower cranes are maintained to a high standard and operate safely and reliably across construction sites throughout Perth and Western Australia. The role will involve electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, maintenance and working with electrical, motor control and hydraulic operating systems.
Key responsibilities
- Electrical servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of tower crane equipment
- Electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
- Maintenance of electrical, motor control and hydraulic operating systems
- Working closely with experienced team of technicians
- Ensuring tower cranes are maintained to a high standard
- Ensuring safe and reliable operation of tower cranes across construction sites
About you
- Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Previous heavy industrial, motor control and/or crane experience highly regarded
- Exposure to electrical and hydraulic operating systems
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to work overtime and weekends where required
- Minimum C Class Driver's Licence
- Current High-Risk Rigging Licence would be an advantage
- Safety-focused and takes pride in their work
