Town Planner

This position will be responsible for assessing development applications, providing high-quality planning advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and strategic objectives.
  
Key areas of accountability include:   

• Assess a range of development applications, including residential, rural, and commercial proposals
• Prepare reports and recommendations in line with planning legislation and local planning controls
• Provide professional advice to applicants, stakeholders, and colleagues
• Participate in community engagement and consultation processes
