Trackhoe Operator

Baker X is looking for an experienced and dependable Trackhoe Operator to join our team.

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and experienced operator with a strong work ethic and previous experience in excavation, construction, utility work, or a related field.

Pay

Starting pay: $25/hour, with the opportunity for a pay increase after the trial period based on performance, experience, reliability, and overall job performance.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Previous work experience in construction, excavation, utility work, or a related field
• Proven experience operating a trackhoe/excavator is required
• Trackhoe experience is required — this is NOT a loader operator position
• Must be able to safely and efficiently operate a trackhoe
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a background check, if required
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to follow instructions and job-site procedures
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a trackhoe/excavator
• Perform excavation and related construction work
• Follow plans, instructions, and job-site requirements
• Maintain awareness of workers, equipment, utilities, and surroundings
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
• Keep the work area organized and safe
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
