Job Title: Tracking Clerk

Seniority Level: Administrative / Operational

1. POSITION PURPOSE

Monitors the real-time movement of the Frimax delivery fleet via telematics software, communicating with drivers to ensure adherence to route plans and delivery schedules.

2. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs) & RESPONSIBILITIES

KPA 1: Live Fleet Monitoring
Utilize fleet tracking software (e.g., Mix Telematics, Netstar) to monitor the live location, speed, and route adherence of all delivery vehicles.

KPA 2: OTIF Reporting
Maintain and update an automated On-Time In-Full (OTIF) reporting structure, linked to an Excel-based operations dashboard, tracking daily loading and delivery efficiencies.

KPA 3: Driver Communication & Escalation
Contact drivers directly to investigate unscheduled stops, route deviations, or delays. Escalate mechanical breakdowns or accidents to the DSP Manager immediately.

KPA 4: Driver Behavior Analytics
Extract weekly telematics reports highlighting harsh braking, speeding, or excessive idling, providing data to management for driver performance reviews.

3. ROLE REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

Education: Matric / Grade 12.

Experience: 1-2 years experience in fleet tracking, logistics control room, or dispatch administration.

System Expertise: Proficiency in fleet telematics platforms and MS Excel data entry.

Core Competencies: Vigilance, strong geographical knowledge of distribution routes, clear communication, and analytical thinking.
