Tractor / Mower Operator

Prospa Contracting Services is EastPack’s Orchard Management Machinery Division, servicing one of the largest orchard management companies in New Zealand, which offers a full range of services that aim to optimise productivity and maximise returns for our growers.

We pride ourselves on being one of the fastest growing operations within the kiwifruit industry.

We are looking for a motivated, hardworking individuals as a tractor/ mower operator with our Te Puke based team, on a fixed term basis until Christmas.

Applicants should possess the following:

• Experience operating tractors, mowers and other machinery
• Have your own reliable transport and full clean NZ driver's licence
• Kiwifruit industry knowledge / experience would be an advantage
• Be comfortable to work independently and as a team player
• Able to follow instructions
• Solid problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
• Good time management and organisational skills (able to prioritise!)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• A clear understanding and awareness of safe work practices
• A reasonable level of physical fitness
• Flexibility to work extended hours including weekends when required during peak seasonal demand

Applicants also need to be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
