Tractor Operator / Stock Person – Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a progressive, family-run dairy farm near Newport, on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border.

We are looking for a practical and dependable Tractor Operator / Stock Person to become part of our forward-thinking team. This is a varied role, combining tractor work with livestock duties and general farm work.

We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience working with both tractors and livestock. You will need to be hardworking, reliable and able to work confidently both independently and alongside other members of the team.

The role will involve a variety of duties, including:

• Feeding the dairy herd using a TMR feeder
• Scraping and bedding accommodation
• Slurry tanking
• Umbilical slurry pumping
• Muck spreading
• General trailer work
• Day-to-day stock husbandry
• A range of general farm duties

A Telehandler certificate would be an advantage, although training/certification is not essential for the right person. A full UK driving licence is required.
