SALARY: $85k - $120k plus discretionary bonus

LOCATION: WOODRIDGE, IL

Onsite 4 days a week

Looking for a system administrator who understands the backend linux and wants to deepen python for automation. You will have some experience supporting traders on the frontend windows and has solid application trade support. 2 years plus can deepen in devops infrastructure engineering. SRE and trade support and TCP/IP networking a plus application trade issue debugging on top of windows. A startup, hedge fund/proprietary trading firm.

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Linux and windows
• Strong administration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting Windows & Linux Server environments
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across infrastructure and applications
• Comfortable working in high-pressure production environments
• Trade Application Support
• Database Sql experience
• Ability to work on-site
