Trade Assistant

About the role

WorkPac - Adelaide is seeking a Trade Assistant to join our team in Lonsdale, SA. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to develop valuable skills in the trades sector. As a Trade Assistant, you will support experienced tradespeople on various projects, assisting with daily tasks and learning practical skills whilst contributing to successful project completion. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a trade environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting qualified tradespeople with their daily tasks and responsibilities
• Preparing and organising tools, materials and work sites
• Carrying out manual labour tasks as directed by supervisors and experienced tradespeople
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment
• Following all site safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Supporting the completion of projects by carrying out assigned duties efficiently and effectively
• Communicating clearly with team members and reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors

Must have:

• One of the following tickets: Forklift, EWP or Dogging ticket

• Previous trade or construction experience is preferred but not essential

• Whitecard (Essential)
