Trade Compliance Coordinator

Our client, a well-established international company operating in the industrial automation and robotics sector and based in Contern , Luxembourg, is looking for a Trade Compliance Coordinator to join its team on a 6-month agency contract .

The successful candidate will support the Export Control team in an international environment, working closely with teams across Europe and Japan on export control, sanctions and international trade compliance activities.

Your Responsabilities

• Check customers and business partners to ensure they meet export control requirements.
• Review customer information and supporting documents.
• Contact European offices to collect and verify information needed for compliance checks.
• Support due diligence and compliance assessments.
• Keep export control databases, records and case files updated.
• Help prepare and review compliance documents and internal forms.
• Contribute to improving procedures, templates and working instructions.
• Monitor changes in export control and sanctions regulations.
• Summarize relevant regulatory updates for the team.
• Review and follow up on export control requests from European offices.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Export Control team.
• Help prepare training materials and awareness initiatives.
• Collect data and support the preparation and analysis of compliance KPIs and reports.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or recent graduate, ideally in (Law, Political Science, International Relations, Business Administration, Economics, Compliance OR a related field)
• Strong interest in export control, sanctions, international trade or regulatory compliance.
• Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable reviewing documents and identifying missing or inconsistent information.
• Well-organized and able to manage several tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive, reliable and eager to learn.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Additional European languages are an advantage.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
