Trade Operations Reviewer

Responsibilities:

· To review and verify commodity trading contracts and operational documents prepared by the Trade Operations team before processing.

· Review operational documents including Contracts, Letters of Credit, B2B L/C match, export documentary negotiation, import bill settlement, calculation of laytime, invoices and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.

· Identify discrepancies and operational risks, and coordinate with the Trade Operations team for timely rectification before approval.

· Ensure all operational activities comply with internal procedures and company requirements.

· Close liaison with the iron ore/steel operation team to ensure smooth execution.

· Liaising with the sales teams.

· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.

· Knowledge of iron ore/steel trading and familiarity with the product specifications is a plus.

Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related disciplines.

* Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with counterparts in Mainland China and review bilingual trading documentation.

* 2-3 years of experience in commodity trading operations, trade finance, or operational audit/internal control preferred.

* Strong understanding of international trade processes, Letters of Credit (L/C), shipping documents, Incoterms, and commodity trading operations.

* Meticulous, analytical, and able to identify operational risks and inconsistencies.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

* High level of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.

* Experience in iron ore, steel, or bulk commodity trading is highly preferred.

* Able to work independently and under pressure.
