Runway Fasteners is a trade-only fastener and hardware supplier in Marcoola. Builders, carpenters and trades come through our doors from 5:30 every morning. The business changed hands in 2025 and is being rebuilt around real product knowledge, consistent pricing and modern systems, and it's growing.

This is a foundational hire. You'll be the face of Runway at the trade counter and on the phone, and you'll go out and win new trade accounts. It isn't a clock-in, clock-out retail gig. We want someone with drive, ideas and the ambition to grow as we grow.

Coming off the tools? Your trade knowledge is the head start.

The role

• Serve builders and trades at the counter from 6am
• Quote, take orders and give straight product advice by phone, email and WhatsApp
• Ring builders and trades every week and open new trade accounts
• Look after key trade accounts
• Check orders line by line before they go out
• Pitch in with the warehouse, and cover the 5:30am opening when needed

About you

• You know construction: on the tools, on site, or behind a building-supply counter
• You like winning new business, not just serving what walks in
• Well presented, and you talk to builders easily
• Sharp on detail: codes, quantities and prices
• Organised, self-driven, and comfortable with tech (AI tools are a bonus)
• A current driver's licence

We'll teach you the range and the systems.

What you get

• $70,000 + super, plus commission on every new account you bring in
• A pay review at six months, and a clear path into sales leadership as we grow
• 6am start, home by 2:30pm, and every second Friday you're done at 10am. No weekends. Your afternoons are your own
• A small team where your results are seen, working directly with the owner
