Trade Support (Derivatives)

Role & responsibilities

Department: Middle Office (FTCA, MO Derivatives & SCD)

Location: Chennai

We are looking to hire an Analyst/Associate to support daily BAU activities in the Middle Office team. This role ensures smooth operations and high-quality service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade Processing: Handle derivative trades in internal systems.
• Notifications: Send trade notifications to trustees and other third parties.
• Exception Handling: Identify and resolve trade-related exceptions.
• Cash Settlement: Work with counterparties to settle cash flows.
• Break Resolution: Collaborate with hub and internal teams to resolve breaks.
• Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to the right teams.
• Reporting: Prepare exception reports for internal controls and client requirements.
• Team Contribution: Actively support team goals and success.

Required Skills

• Technical: Strong MS Excel, knowledge of derivatives and other financial products (loans, corporate actions, listed securities).
• Analytical: Ability to analyze data, adapt processes, and solve problems.
• Behavioral: Good communication, teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking operations.
