Trade Support - Derivatives/Fixed Income

This is an excellent opportunity to work with this established Financial Services company supporting the Fixed Income Trading Team.

The candidate will have an understanding of the trade lifecycle across the various asset classes, including fixed income and OTC derivative instruments. 

The major responsibilities of the role include:

• Responsible for supporting the Trade Reporting of all OTC Derivatives.
• Develop and document a framework and operating model required to support Trade Reporting across systems, processes, procedures, and controls.
• Develop key metrics and reporting, regarding all aspects of Trade Reporting
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulatory requirements, and operating rules.
• Monitor Depository Trade Reporting KPI’s, action logs and SLA’s
• Monitor Depository Trade Reporting Clearing Broker Reconciliation

To be considered for this role you will also:

• Knowledge of the OTC products (Fixed income, equities, foreign exchange)
• Knowledge of Depository Trade Reporting requirements for Australian regulator ASIC (knowledge of other global regulator’s requirements highly regarded (MiFID II and CFTC))
• Previous systems experience with Bloomberg, Markitwire and Broadridge (Future Landscape and Total Order) is not essential but preferable
• Knowledge of exception management and breaks resolution as it related to Intersystem Reconciliations
• Understanding of financial services regulatory environment and an ability to identify inherent risks in the operational aspects of the business and provide solutions.
