Trade Support Executive

About the role:

We are looking for an analytical Trade Support Executive to support our Regional Sales Manager and help grow strong relationships with customers.

This role is suitable for candidates who are interested in developing a career in customer management and international container shipment in the chemical industry. You will gain practical experience in market research, client management and cross-functional teamwork.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide updated price quotations and suitable delivery month to sales PIC for selected products.

2. Responsible for trades delivery planning and ensure timely delivery as per territory assigned

3. Manage process for discount approval when trades are to be done below the published prices.

4. Timely reporting of trade done through WhatsApp and trade confirmation through email to buyer.

5. Ensure raw material, capacity and freight requirement are communicated to the relevant departments.

6. Coordinate for sample requests where required.

7. Coordinate with customers and internal department for artwork and PDR requirements.

8. Prepare 3 months forecasts of sales volume for planning purposes

Possible Skill Growth:

• How technical products are marketed and sold to business customers.
• How to manage customer relationships, sales activities and pipelines.
• Practical experience in market research, sales reporting and product documentation.
• Exposesure to international container shipping to India, South & Central Asia

Job Requirements:

• A degree in Science, Engineering, Business or Marketing.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• 2 - 5 years of experience in chemical sales or marketing is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a positive, self-motivated, team-oriented attitude.
