Trade Support Specialist

Van Caem Klerks Group is an international trading company operating within global markets. Van Caem Klerks Group buys and sells A-branded goods in a variety of different categories, namely: Liquor, Fragrance, and FMCG (Toiletries, Food and Professional Haircare). We are a service-oriented company with over 50 years of experience in the import/export industry. Our head office is in the heart of Amsterdam, with our international office in Curacao. We have 2 of our own warehouses strategically placed near the Port of Rotterdam which helps us provide the best and most efficient service.

Van Caem Klerks Group has a turnover of over 300 million. Despite this, we maintain an informal, flat organizational structure that prioritizes employee growth and progression. We pride ourselves on our international focus, with representation from over 30 nationalities among our 150 employees.

We are seeking a Trade Support Specialist to be part of our fast-paced team!

As a Trade Support Specialist, your main duties include entering import orders in Navision, processing orders, and coordinating with Traders, suppliers, and warehouses. You play a crucial role in supporting our sales team. You'll also manage logistics, overseeing tasks like planning international transport, air, and sea freight, as well as checking and assigning stock. This position also involves working in the office every day, as extensive teamwork is required for the tasks.

What do we look for in a candidate?

• Fluency in English.
• Previous experience in trade support, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
• Understanding of trade operations, supply chain management, and logistics processes.
• Knowledge of import & export documentation, and Incoterms is a plus.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also working independently when needed.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and act proactively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to think outside the box.
• Residing in the Netherlands, ideally in the Amsterdam area.
• Experience with Navision/Business Central is a plus
