Trade/ Warehouse Assistant

About the role

This is a hands-on labouring and support position, working alongside cabinet makers, joiners and other trades across kitchen renovations and custom cabinetry projects. The role will also assist with the day-to-day running and organisation of the warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting cabinet makers, joiners and other trades on-site
• Helping with kitchen and cabinetry installations
• Loading, unloading and delivering cabinetry and materials to job sites
• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Organising cabinetry, hardware and materials for upcoming projects
• Preparing and packing jobs ready for installation
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Moving and handling cabinetry, benchtops and building materials
• General site clean-up and labouring duties
• Assisting with general warehouse and trade-related tasks as required

About you

• No formal trade qualification required
• Practical, reliable, physically capable and willing to learn
• Current driver's licence
• Comfortable with physical and hands-on work
• Reliable, organised and able to follow instructions
• Willing to work both in the warehouse and across different project sites
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Work well as part of a team
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential
